STVT’s Professional Massage Therapy (PMT) diploma program provides in-depth training in the art and science of massage therapy plus focuses on clinical methods and advanced techniques to prepare our students for a rewarding career. Our course of study is led by career professionals and designed to prepare students for massage therapy careers that include Swedish massage techniques, hydrotherapy, and clinical methods as well as popular trends in the massage industry. STVT offers convenient scheduling options to help students be prepared to start their career as a professional massage therapist in as few as 30 weeks.

Students must possess a high school diploma, GED or recognized equivalent, or demonstrate the ability to benefit from training. The PMT graduate will be qualified for entry-level employment as a licensed massage therapist in various work settings: day resort or destination spas, medical spas, private businesses, and rehabilitation or wellness clinics.

The State of Texas requires only the minimum 500 hour course of instruction for licensure and any additional training is strictly voluntary and for career enrichment.
